Application
The 4200's advanced measurement circuits provide for two powerful testing techniques to happen concurrently. First, the 4200 load can make several types of measurements on each UUT-output in a single test step. Secondly, all 4200-connected UUT-outputs can be simultaneously tested. That combination of techniques benefits the user by providing more functional performance infomation than has ever been practically possible with current-generation electronic loads. In addition, all this information is now available in far less time. Whether used in engineering characterization or production test applications, the 4200 load has distinct advantages for all manufactures committed to higher quality and lower costs.The 4200 is designed to be used within an emPowerTM-controlled test system such as the NHR S430/440 or 5600. For increased system configuration flexibility, 4200 loads can be used in the same chassis together with NHR 6000-Series DC Sources.
Advanced Measurement & Waveform Display
The 4200 Advanced Measurement Load provides the following library of voltage, current and timing measurements that are available simultaneously on each UUT output: Voltage, Current, Power, Overshoot, Undershoot, Rise-Time, Fall-Time, Settling-Time, Hold-up Time, AC RMS, AC+DC RMS, Trigger-In Time and Digital State & Time. Even waveforms can be displayed on the system monitor to assist in diagnosing how each UUT-output performs.Timing Measurements across Multiple Outputs
In addition to the 4 standard time measurements on each UUT-output's waveform, the 4200 load can be precisely synchronized to all other output loads. In this manner it is now possible to make accurate timing measurements between any of the UUT's outputs.Complex Loading Profiles
A wide range of multi-level square, pulse, ramp and triangle waveforms combined with up to 100 sequential steps are programmable in the 4210 load's transient mode. This mini-ARB capability will usually elimate the need for additional test system instruments thereby reducing costs and complexity along with improving test throughput.Key Module Specifications
